Portraits are done from photographs. Contrast and detail are essential. However, any photograph will be considered, and used at my discretion. However, clear detailed photos work the best. If desired, I am happy to take photographs for you, if your location permits it. Contact me for shows I will be attending.

Pen and Ink drawings for any breed of dog are done on heavy smooth paper, usually an eggshell color. Pastel paintings are done on a variety of textured and colored paper. These details can be discussed further.
Digital photographs can be sent via email and must be a resolution of 300 dpi or higher. You may also send me original photos by postal mail and I will scan them myself and return them to you.
Prices are based on the medium used (Pastel or Pen & Ink), finished size, the number of images desired in the portrait, and the background, if any. Portraits of a different size than listed below are negotiable. Click here to request a quote.

• Dimensions are finished canvas size.
Terms: 50% is required up front, and the balance is due after viewing an image of the finished piece.
S&H: Shipping is based on the size of the piece and medium used. Pastels must be shipped flat. Pen and Ink can be mailed in a tube. Shipping amounts are based on the size, from $12.95 and up for US shipments. International shipments will be more. All shipping is insured.
Satisfaction quaranteed: If not fully satisfied with the finished portrait, you may return the piece for a refund or exchange. The piece must be returned in the original condition with insured shipping.
Framing: Prices do not include framing. If you would like me to have your portrait matted and framed, I can provide you with a quote when the portrait is finished. My framer is very good, and knows how to deal with the special needs of Pastel.
Payments: I will accept Bank Checks or Money Orders in US funds. I also accept PayPal.
