Grousewood Bodacious Diamond X Ch Holly Hollow's Hakuna Matata
In June 2003, when Zorro turned 2 years of age, he was bred to Pumba, owned by Susan Linhares of Holly Hollow. The litter was born 8/6/2003.

Below is a collection of photos of the pups in this litter. Not to detract from the rest of the litter, as they've all done exceptionally well, there is a separate section for "Blu" (Holly Hollow Blu Barks At Balloons). Blu is a replica of Zorro, and we are watching his progress with keen anticipation.

Holly Hollow Blu Barks At Balloons  "Blu"

Kelly and Brian Eddolls decided they wanted a puppy just like Zorro. Little did they know, their puppy would turn out to be a Zorro-clone (is that possible?) Consider Blu; registered name "Holly Hollow Blu Barks At Balloons", aka "Blu barks at baseballs". Zorro and Blu, Blu and Zorro. Blu eats soap bars, Zorro eats kleenex tissues (both bathroom items). Blu barks at balloons, Zorro has never seen a balloon but thinks plastic grocery bags stuck in the snow are evil. Zorro takes up the whole bed, Blu takes up Kelley's side of the bed. Watching Blu in the show ring brings back fond (?) memories of Zorro doing the "happy dance" instead of getting down to "bizness". Blu appears to be the perfect gentleman, and then proceeds to do his Super-Hero imitation for the judge (thankfully waiting until AFTER he got the points!), flying through the air, narrowly missing the judge and landing on his handler. The judge was NOT amused. Everyone is waiting for the next show to see what part of Blu's handler's anatomy he can twist, whack, smack, land on or trip up.

You be the judge.... It is spooky to look into Blu's face and see Zorro looking back at me. It makes me wonder what he's up to!

Unfortunately, AKC has misplaced Blu's registration application and his first pointed wins are now invalid. That's OK, cuz we know that Blu will earn many more in the months to come. Such is life in dog showing and in dealing with the AKC. Keep your eyes peeled and keep a safe distance, and watch for Holly Hollow's Blu Barks At Balloons in the upcoming New England shows.

In any event, Blu will undoubtedly take the Frisbe Championship or the Baseball Intimidation Award - Blu barks at baseballs too!
